PROJECTS ~ SUDEP Aware Contracted by SUDEP Aware to organize and act as Master of Ceremonies for their first SUDEP Professional Development Day for epilepsy support organizations and non-physician epilepsy care providers. With presentations from leading experts in the field from around the world, the day aimed to provide valuable insight into the issues concerning SUDEP, as well as the tools and knowledge to best assist and support the 300,000 families living with epilepsy in Canada. The event was held in Montreal, to coincide with the International Epilepsy Congress, and was deemed a “valuable learning experience for all involved”.
