PROJECTS ~ Ten Steps to Community Action

Contracted by the project partners of Human Resources Development Canada and the Saugeen Business Development Centre to co-ordinate a 10 step development program that provides people with leadership and organizational management skills, as well as community economic development tools in hopes to foster and develop local community based leadership and volunteerism. The 10 Steps program offers a flexible curriculum tailored to the needs of the participants and the community and includes a variety of topics. |
Activities undertaken to successfully launch this new program include the design, development, recruitment and management of program curriculum, speakers, facilitators, community networks, venues, participants and evaluations.
