Contracted by the Grey Bruce Children's Water Education Council to co-ordinate an annual children's water festival to cultivate in every child and adult who participates, an understanding of and appreciation for the water they use and the environment in which they live.
The successful completion of this project set the groundwork for establishing the Festival as an important teaching vehicle for the Bluewater District School Board and the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board to participate in each year and meet the learning outcomes set out in the New Ontario Curriculum.
